Hi Karen, Happy New Year.

Try another download from the link below, but only AFTER you check there are no Adobe Reader elements on your drive. If there are, please uninstall them first by going to Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > click on Adobe Reader > click Remove.

Then go here:

http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

and follow the on-screen instructions.

If that doesn't work and you're using Inernet Explorer version 7, uninstall that too and revert back ti IE v6 then try the download from Adobe.

There's been lots of problems reported with IE v7.

You're not being specific enough, what missing temporary file? Does this happen when you try and execute the installation of the program? It doesn't make sense to stop you downloading the program when you click the link on the website.
General advice I would give you is to clear your temporary internet files and try again.
If you can't get it to work and you really need a .pdf reader a good alternative is foxit reader, get it for free here http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php

Hi,
I believe that if you did a "un-install" - then do a "disk clean-up" to empty the .temp files. Then re-install Adobe Reader. This might help. Sometimes while downloading a program - you sometimes might not receive all files that the program needs to work. I hope this resolves your problem.

You will need to uninstall and reinstall adobe flash using the Adobe Flash uninstaller as there may still be parts of flash installed in your computer that were never removed . Just click the run tab on the Adobe flash uninstaller Now reinstall Adobe Flash

Are you trying to download version 8? I had problems with that one. I would go to the adobe website and download an earlier version. Or you could try to download one at www.download.com.
