Hello =)
Although I do respect people's opinions on this one, I, personally see waiting until marriage to have sex to be a good way to play russian roulette with a relationship.
How on earth are two people to know if they are even remotely sexually compatible?? Suppose the woman is the sort who needs extra stimulation, and the man is a 3-minute wonder?? (3 minutes is the average time for men, after all). Now you are already married, and most times, if you believed that celibacy until marriage was important, you probably also don't think highly of divorce. So....you have doomed yourselves to a relationship that has a fundemental flaw in it, that could last 50 years or more.
I'm not saying that sex has to be that important in a relationship, but in all honesty, it usually is.
The psychological factors involved in not feeling like you are able to please your partner are deeply wounding as well.
This just seems like a very bad idea to me, in this modern era, where premarital sex is morally acceptable.
Namaste,
--Tom

I have been SEVERELY humiliated by my ex husband for having married virgin. I guess it was a cultural shock for him.
He knew about my option beforehand and said he was ok with that, but our honey moon was a bitter moon instead as he would compare me to previous lovers and demand for an experience that was not, and could not be there.
I say if you are saving yourself try to find a man who is willing to value that. Yes, there are those. Otherwise you run the risk of "backfiring".
These days I am careful about what I say to males. Sometimes I lead them into thinking that my sexual experience has been bigger than it really was :-) I think it helps. But again: it all depends on who the guy is. Males are not all the same. Which kind of male do you want?

Guys will respect you more if you keep your virginity. Sex is sacred and meant to be saved until marriage, despite what society says. If you find a guy who is willing to wait for you till marriage, then he's a man of character and you can be sure that he respects you.

Whether or not it's important to men, is it to you? Whenever you have sex, you become one with the person you have sex with. Imagine this in both scenarios.
a. You have sex with a few boys. Now these boys are on your mind and know you the way only your husband should.
b. You don't have sex till you're married. You are able to give to your husband the one thing no one else in this world has . . .
If you want God's perspective:
Matthew 19:4-6
4"Haven't you read," he replied, "that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,' 5and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'? 6So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate."
1 Corinthians 6:15-17
15Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! 16Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, "The two will become one flesh." 17But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with him in spirit.

A virgin is not a requirement today. Just fidelity to your husband. if you love a guy now and feel you can trust him have sex. Its nothing in the bible that literally speaks to being a virgin. The church waaaaay back in the day used to endorse prostitution. So perspectives change.
