Am I able 2 talk & reason w/these credit card comps 2 stop or hold on 4 a few months untill I start working again, or is there another way of not loosing my credit &/or lowering my score. Please help, Thank U

Your best solution would be to discuss your options with the credit card companies so you can prevent late payments from being reported to your credit files. Once late payments are reported, they stay for 7 years, so be sure to get any agreements in writing.
Many companies would rather make alternate arrangements before having you default on the card.

Go see a credit counselor. Be careful though, find one that is reputable. If you belong to a church they probably have reliable resources in your area.

Being unemployed is a viable reason for having credit problems. Once you are gainfully employed again you can send out a letter to the credit card companies and reporting agencies explaining the situation. That is another thing a credit counselor will help you with.
