You are not prohibited to carry liquids aboard a cruise ship. Those rules only apply to air travel. However, the contents of those bottles may be banned :-) . Just don't make it too obvious that they contain alcohol and you ought to be fine.

I always take a six pack of PEpsi or Coke and a six pack bottle of water in my carry-on for cruises. If you take the time to put clear rum or vodka in your water bottles and make sure that there is no liquor smell you will be OK. Just don't try to take on a liquor bottle because they prohibit that and they do screen your acrryon bags the same as they do at airports. If you want to carry more liquor, get half pint or pint bottles and pack it in your clothes or with packed toiletries.

AFAIK cruise ships have no restrictions on what you can bring with you, as long as it isn't obviously dangerous or illegal. There may be restrictions on what you can bring on after stops at foreign ports, but this has more to do with import (i.e. tax) regulations than safety.

You can have what you want as long this won't go with you on the plane!
They even took my baby tiny bottle with juice and my mom's Lysol in spray.....That's true...you should see my face when I saw them pull it out of my mama purse...
Lots of Blessings in 2007!
