Yes, apply vitamin e cream or topical solution, and most of all you can also apply aloe vera gel, this will heal every sore really fast. GNC sells both vitamin e and aloe vera in bottle and/or tube try to see which works for you, they're both good products and they will not affect your hair either.

Try using Neutrogena T/Gel or T/Sal shampoos, and put away the hair spray and gel for a while (they contain alcohol, which really irritates your scalp). Use a pomade or styling paste on your hair sparingly to keep it smooth, but nothing else. I have trouble w/ my scalp too, and these shampoos work wonders!

Try DHS Zinc shampoo. You have to ask for it at the pharmacy counter. No prescription needed. You may want to call your drug store to see if it's in stock. Sometimes they have to order it for you.
