My title is an Envi. Scientist. I inspect facilities to ensure operations and air pollution control devices are operating properly or within air pollution control regulations and maintain a particulate matter (2.5 micron) monitor. Options for work are vast ranging from regulators (usually government) that create and enforce envir. laws, environmental consultants, remediation, prevention, educational fields, monitoring, sampling, permit writers, envir. engineering, sustainable developing, etc. I believe the options for envir scientists will only improve in the future.
