My best mate had a baby on the 29th, he is gorgeous even tho he does look like his daddy. It was my baby's first christmas and we chilled out. Hey, by the way any chance of you looking after my brats in sept? xxx

I got to spend my Christmas holiday with my daughter (21) and son (16) over the New Year's weekend. I now live 2 1/2 hours away and that is when the schedule worked for everyone. It was such a joy seeing the two of them together and how they interact now that they're older and have a close relationship. But I still sit back and look at them as my two little babies.

I am the auntie of a 19-month-old girl. She made some beautiful finger-paintings, and her mom framed them for me as a Christmas gift. That was my favorite thing!

Congratulations!

Nothing as nice has happened on my side of the pond, but I get a great deal of pleasure hearing the joy of others.

All the best.

I like the Christmas songs and the decorations. It makes an otherwise dreary time, the onset of winter, cheerful.

I saw my oldest son for the first time in 2 months...he recently moved to Washington D.C., and it was GREAT to see him!

And I gave some exceptionally unique gifts to everyone, and I LOVED the happiness on their faces!!

Not to sound like the Grinch but my favorite thing was when it was over. Yeah, no more standing in long lines and spending money I don't have.
