Well, I had it done on a kitten and it was $1200. Not any old vet can do it, so the cost is more than some other surgeries.
I am sure it varies from place to place around the country.

This answer will vary wildly from vet to vet. This is not a run of the mill sx- so ask around! How many has this vet done, what sort of success rate do they have? What kind of drugs- ie:induction agents, mntr during sx, ie- pulse ox, ecg, etc. do they offer. The last one of these guys I saw, we sent to the University of Minnesota vet school- they opened him up and then discovered his could not be fixed. The owner's stuck with the RX food and meds- and he lived another happy 3 years. Good Luck!

It would vary, depending on the vet and where you live.
