Are? Do you mean third person, plural of the verb, "to be?"
In that case, "son" and "estan". Spanish has two verbs for the concepts we express with to be--ser, and estar.
Of course, in English, we also say, "you are", which translates as "es" or "eres" and "esta" or
"estas".

do you mean diffrent dioleque diffrent in that way in mexico it is the language casteano and in other counties like spain it is spanish the latin language is the most commom spoken language in the world think about it you medical terminology is from none other then latin base your music is also bassed by the latin language if you ever do a report on something like that it gave me a A+

To add to the above poster:
estan = they are.
The verbs ser and estar both mean "to be". Basically, as I understand it, "ser" is more permanent (as in "soy norteamericana" -- I'm North American) and estar is more temporary --as in "Estoy aqui" .."I'm here" (but I might not be tomorrow).
I strongly suggest studying...... :-)
