Theologically the Bible says nothing about it in Christianity. BUT we are told heaven is a place where we have a new earth and we are with God and we are happy--there's no sorrow or pain. So . . . it doesn't make sense that we're sitting around playing harps because that would not make most of us happy. Some theologians believe the earth will be renewed and we will live back on the earth, others that God will create a new place. Either way most people talk about the Rainbow Bridge where animals will be waiting from a poem -- search for it, it is comforting.

I was told that heaven is a place where you are with God and are happy all the time. I can't imagine any place that I could be happy all the time without pets. So even if a dog doesn't have a soul, I think that there are dogs in heaven, for the people who love them. And for the people who don't love dogs, I believe that they just can't see the dogs, unless they come to love them.

This was addressed in our local Newspaper yesterday. They couldn't draw a conclusion. I have drawn my own conclusion YES, ALL dogs go to heaven. They have souls just like humans and no matter what happened to them here on earth a life just as good if not better awaits them in heaven and we will reunite with them someday.

I would hope so.
Some of them have/had such rotten lives on earth, I would hope that they would be able to have peace in heaven.
