If persons during the tribulation become born again believers they will probably be killed.. If you don't take the mark of the beast then you will die.. Christians will not take it, because then it means when they die they will be separated from GOD.. Unbelievers such as atheists, gays, etc will most likely take the mark.. If you don't have the mark you cant work, own land or buy food.. So i don't think they will aid you they will most likely turn you in for being against the antichrist..
Rev 13
15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

The bible says that many will depart, and heap together teachers having itching ears. I will not be here during the end times, so I won't know for sure. But it is a sure thing that, some people who say they are Christians will be part of the ones doing the persecuting... think about it,,,, the people that crucified Jesus were ones that said they followed God... They were religious people that Followed God, yet could not see the Forest for the trees

My family has a oong history of standing up for the persecuted. I'm an atheist, but if I learn that some group or another is being rounded up to be tortured or killed, I'm stepping up to the plate and doing what I can to rescue and/or stop it. It is my duty as a human being.
So yes. You are wrong. Atheists, Wiccans, Pagans, and others are much better people than you like to think. We've been on the receiving end of your nonsense, so we know how it feels. Why would we wish it on someone else?
Forget My Name: What a one-dimensional, pathetic view you have of your fellow humans.

This is just my opinion but as long as countries like the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and other free countires exist I doubt there will ever be world wide persecutions of Christians, since all of these countries have a large Christian population.

No, that is not true. That is true of Israel in the tribulation period, but not for the church in the end time. For the church in the endtime, the church will become "lukewarm" (Revelation 3) and will fall away from the faith, will become worldly, and will not accept sound doctrine, and will seek after teachers who who will "tickle their ears". That period of time is called in the Bible the "apostacy" (falling away) Many believe we are in it right now and that is the reason there is so much division and lack of unity in the Church today.
1 Timothy 4:1 But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons,
2 Timothy 3:1 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. 2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, 4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.
2 Thess 2:3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction,

If people are being killed or mistreated by the government for their religious beliefs, I will fight for their civil rights. Just because I don't agree with your belief system doesn't mean you deserve to be persecute for it. That said, I'm talking about actual persecution, not the kinds of things many Christians seem to see as persecution today (education reform, holiday stuff, etc.)

From one believer to another, I don't think you can really ask someone a question like that. First, you're asking (indirectly) for people to classify themselves as an atheist, homosexual or other; something which some people probably haven't decided on yet or may not be inclined to classify themselves as. Secondly, you're asking them to predict what they would be like in a time of turmoil; something neither you, nor I can do in the peace of the here and now. Thirdly, you're placing a reliance for believers on non-believers. Is it possible that believers will be caught up with Christ before the turmoil begins and those who are left behind who do not deny Christ at that time will look to him, not to atheists for protection?

What do you mean "end times" The bible says we are persecuted for our faith.
Look at the early christians thrown to the lions. Look at the Sudan or China NOW! It's happened and will continue to happen as long as people love the darkness over the light. I wonder if we will know we are in the "end times."

lol. Guess the Romans didn't do that then. We all must have been imagining it when they sent the Christians to be eaten by the lions.
Honestly, by that way of thinking, yall have been in the end times since the beginning of Christianity.
Don't you see the hypocritical and utter ridiculousness of that?

If I did help a Christian in a situation like that, do you think their mind would change on the whole "witches are servants of satan" issue? I don't think so.
