there is not a miracle diet, hun.

the best thing to do is to eat properly - 6 small meals a day. don't completely cut a food group out. watch your soda pop intake and be sure to drink plenty of water. and honestly, don't stress about it - that will only makes things worse. get out and enjoy life. take a walk a few times a week or maybe join a teen exercise class!

good luck and remember you shouldn't lose more than 2 lbs a week if you want to keep it off long term!

Eat LOADS of fresh vegetables! Make sure to always have several kilos of fresh vegetables at home - cabbage, carrots, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, onion, cauliflower, broccoli, spinach, pepper, sprouts (if you buy seeds like alpha-alpha-seeds and sprout them and eat predominantly those sprouts, you will save a lot of money as well) etc - and begin every meal with a HUGE amount of vegetables and keep eating vegetables and nothing else than vegetables until you are almost filled up. Then, to fill that last small space in your stomach, eat some nuts, ground seeds (for example sesame seeds) and other protein&fat rich foods to get the necessary amount of those nutrients too. As you are almost filled up with vegetables by the end of the meal, you will not feel like eating so much of the protein&fat rich foods, so you will still get so few calories that you will lose weight. A raw vegan diet like that works perfect for a long period of time for most people. Eat NO carb foods like bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, pizza, cereals, etc. They are addictive (then can make you feel like you need to eat more of them than your body really needs) and can easily make you gain weight. Remember, at every meal, almost fill yourself with vegetables from the beginning of the meal, and you will lose weight in a pleasant way! Google-search "raw vegan diet" for more info.

As for exercise, long, brisk walks feel easiest to me. If you don't want to do any other physical exercise, at least take a 40 minute walk every day.

If you think losing weight will suddenly make you popular please think again. If you want to lose weight then lose it for the right reasons. Lose weight because you want to be healthy. You will
still be you whether you're skinny or plump. The first step to losing weight is to like yourself. If you can't do that then why should anyone else like you. Once you learn to like yourself then
you will be able to stick to any diet you want. Just eat healthier,
exercise sensibly and get plenty of sleep at night so you will
look your best. Focus on your schooling and learn to tune
out all negative attitudes. In other words....BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.

Make sure you are drinking enough water no matter what you do. Take your weight and divide it in half. That will equal the amount of ounces of water you should be drinking. Example : 150 lbs.=75 ounces of water.(if you cut out the caffeine. You have to add more water if you drink caffeine) I am proud of you for getting started. You have inspired me.
