well u get the ballon tip "new program installed" when u open the start menu right ? if you open your "all programmes" from the start menu you will have those installed programmes hilighted , once you click on them the ballon will not appear again till u install new software .. if u don't want to show it again follow this :
right click on the taskbar >> proprieties >> start menu [from the top] >> customize >> advanced [from the top] ;
Uncheck "highlight newly installed programs" . ok >> ok and that's all !

Click on the little balloon (if that's how it's telling you). Or click on the start button and go to "all programs". The newly installed program should be highlighted.

Hit the start menu and go into all programs, you should see it in there.

Click start->All programs - the new icons/groups should be highlighted.

click on the start menu,and the list should be there,it will say new programmes installed.

if you really cant see it.. try to go to add/remove programs in control panel and check after date.. you should see it
