Matthew 7:21-23 "Not everyone saying to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will. 22 Many will say to me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?' 23 And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew YOU! Get away from me, YOU workers of lawlessness.

Many who think they serve God and follow Jesus will be in for a big surprise when Jesus tell them these words.

John 10:27 (Jesus said) "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me."

Jesus and God sees through our hearts.

God does not have to wait one day. And He is not closing His eyes now. He knows that MOST, not ALL His worshippers are hypocrites. The prophet Elijah felt like that before. He said, they have all backslided and becam heathens, I am the only one left.
God said to him, I have 7000 pairs of knees who have not turned into hypocrites or heathens besides you.

In Revelation the same thing is said: When the whole world will be following the false prohets and the AntiChrist, there are still a group of people who are faithful and honest and true saints of God:
12This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God's commandments and remain faithful to Jesus.
Revelation 14:12. So the definition of "saints" as opposite to sinners or hypocrites is: "those who obey God's commandments and remain faithful to Jesus."
Thank God, there are still a lot of them in the world today, although most of the Christians are, truly hypocrites.

They will be shocked to find out that reality.
21"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' 23Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!' (Matthew 7:21-23).

the only way not to be a "hypocrite" is to be perfect which of course no one is. Also, within a Christian can try to help someone without always being perfect in that area as well. It works kinda like this, if a kid is having trouble in math class a kid doing better in the class can help him but the kid who helped him probably will miss some problems on the test. That doesn't make his advice to the other student any less valuable.

You need to know what "hypocrite" means (and how it's spelled also) If I pretend Im perfect and I am not, then I am a hypocrite and yes, there are some. But, if I tell you I am not perfect and I am not, then I am honest. And its definitely not ALL God's followers, thankfully only a few.

God does not have to open his eyes because He knows everything. I'm sure he also knows that there are a lot of hateful people who falsely accuse His followers as well.

I hope that someday you meet someone who has really given over all their selfishness to the Lord so that you will see. God's eyes are open and He does warn about hypocrisy. He warns about hindering people from finding Him. He says we collectively are His bride and I can assure you that He did not lure me to Him by saying He'd burn me forever if I didn't. He cam to me in love and in love we should spread the good news. Oh yeah He did not point out my faults either but when I ask to see He shows me and will remove them ask I ask but it is usually painful and like child birth worth all the pain. I believe that hypocrisy and condemnation are the devils weapons in our churches.

You're wrong. God's eyes have been opened and will always be. Man can lie to man... but can never lie to God. I think HE's just waiting for the right time to expose those who 'don't belong to Him'.

Yup, I'm a hypocrite, and God knows it. So are you.

it already happened...which was why Jesus' death was predicted. and his "people" are the ones who condemned him...

it is us who have to open OUR eyes and change, open our hearts and minds as Jesus had done, to invite one and all to Mercy and Grace, not look down on or judge those who do not believe the same thing.

All things come to those who attract them....there is no hiding from your own spirituality...judgement is upon you at some time or another via the natural law.
