How do feel about death and reincarnation?

do belive we just die its like going to sleep and you never wake up? or I belive in the live after...i had times when i am some place and it felt like i have been there? or is there hell and heavon which i think its p.s my self

Actually reincarnation as the masses no it is not how it generally is. From one prospective when you die you die, from another prospective Christians aren't wrong in their thoughts that each man lives only one life...

Many people have no idea what reincarnation is generally like in reality, only some New Age bs about your memories being suppressed at birth. No your memories aren't being suppressed at birth because you have never lived before to have memories. There is a difference, you are not your soul - only an expression within the mind of it. You don't reincarnate, you are an image.

BTW I don't believe in reincarnation, I know of reincarnation. Sorry guys but you do realize that reincarnation is like the only thing that has any supports and semi-evidence? I myself have known of the lives that came before me, from the soul. Some at least, 1 I learned of when I was like 7 years old and didn't know anything about reincarnation. I was told it was a past life, yet no one taught me such things, who could considering everyone I was around was christians or didn't believe in such things?

I see so were quoting the bible now? Do I have to come up with Scriptural proofs to prove reincarnation? Who said that man doesn't live more than once then the judgment? I think you guys don't know how pre-4th Cenutry Christainity taught reincarnation and etc.

There are many problems with the salvation-by works doctrine of reincarnation. First, there are many practical problems. For example:
1. We must ask, why does one get punished for something he or she cannot remember having done in a previous life?
2. If the purpose of karma is to rid humanity of its selfish desires, then why hasn't there been a noticeable improvement in human nature after all the millennia of reincarnations?
3. If reincarnation and the law of karma are so beneficial on a practical level, then how do advocates of this doctrine explain the immense and ever-worsening social and economic problems - including widespread poverty, starvation, disease, and horrible suffering - in India, where reincarnation has been systematically taught through out its history?
There are also many biblical problems with believing in reincarnation. For example, in 2 Corinthians 5:8 the apostle Paul states, "We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord." At death, the, the Christian immediately goes into the presence of the Lord, not into another body. In keeping with this. Luke 16:19-31 tells us that unbelievers at death go to a place of suffering, not into another body.
Further, Hebrews 9:27 assures us that "man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment." Each human being LIVES ONCE as a mortal on earth, DIES ONCE, and then FACES JUDGMENT. He does not have a second chance by reincarnating into another body.

Are you referring to reincarnation as a life in an afterlife? The usual concepts of reincarnation suggest another earth existence. Heaven and Hell are limited by their description in Christian literature. The afterlife is for all.

I am a Buddhist, which allows for many possibilities really.

The Buddha once said:

Many are reborn as humans, Good people go to heaven, bad people go to hell. Only those who practice renunciation of the world shall know Nirvana.

Nirvana is a confusing subject to Buddhists, even though that is our ultimate goal. Many of us think of it as "liberation" to live or exist as one wishes. Others think it is a sort of blissful oblivion (this is my belief). Others think it is a more classic eternal heaven type of thing.

There are many levels of rebirth in Buddhism. One can be reborn as a God (angel to Christians), in a heavenly realm, for example, or as a hungry ghost (a pitiful state), as an animal (an undesirable state) or even a denizon of hell. It is because of one's Karma, which one accumulates by ones thoughts, words, and deeds, that one attains these various rebirths. Nirvana is only attainable by eliminating craving, grasping, and attachment to the things of life, returning to the "bright, knowing nature" that is within us all.

I guess that as long as we are alive we will never know the answer to that.

I see no qualms about reincarnation--in fact, I will not rule it out. If there are final days, and G-d will take us to heaven with him, why not live different lives while waiting on this to happen.

I have had experiences that I would consider to be evidence there is other lifetimes. This may or maynot be truth for you, but for thousands, it is a way of life. If you are curious look into Hinuism. Deepak Chopra's new book would be a good read also.

The reason the "reincarnation" theory has become so popular is because it elimates the fear of death (Just as all successful cults do). However, just because many people believe something doesnt make it any more true. You cant just make up a random theory without any evidence to back it up.
