we've been friends for 2 and 1/2 years now. We Recently restarted talking on the phone at night at least 3-4 times a week for about two hours each time. I like him now and I don't want to risk never knowing if he liked me. I want to ask him if he likes me in about a week,but I kind of want to work my way up to it. by dropping small hints. Especially since I do not think he is sure if I like him or not. I just do not know how to show it. Now I am ready to. So how do I tell him and show him. I can face rejection I just have to work myself up to it. Although I think I have a good chance of not being rejected unless some other girl came in the picture within the past 2 weeks, but that can't beat two years of friendship. Anyways what do I do?

You don't have to do anything--he already likes you if he's a friend.
I think he's been working you and he's already got the hots for you--I mean having 2 hour calls that much says a lot.
A lot depends on what you 2 have been talking about for the past 2 1/2 years--like does he talk about the same stuff that you might talk about with one of your girlfriends? If so you can pretty well forget about turning one of your trusted girls into a male lover.
