Do you have a garlic press? Or a metal lid from an old salt shaker or seasoning jar? or a carrot peeler? or a butcher knife, the one that rocks back n forth? or slice the cheese in thin slices and use a fork to press down on it and slice through it.

You could try using a potato peeler to cut thin strips of cheese off the block.

Yes, just cut it up really small--if you are melting it, it makes no difference! If you are not melting it, just cut it into small cubes, should work the same for you!

You can cut it up really small. Or you can attempt to use a pasta drainer if you have a metal one. That's worked for me before.

get a knife and chop it fast and crazy and like a maniac. u'll be surprised how small they'll be after a minute. its also fun. =D
