I have found books on pets that are deaf or books on pets that are blind but not both.
Does anybody know a resource that I can use to help me help my pet - I've had him a long time and putting him to sleep is just not thinkable for me right now.

Talk to your vet right away about this. Have them check again for tumors if they haven't checked in about 2-3 weeks he might have a tumor now. You may need to put him to sleep. Think about it this way, if you were the dog and the dog was your owner and you couldn't hear or see anymore and they couldn't figure out why wouldn't you want to be put down. You're dog might be in pain too but can't tell you. Think about what's best for the dog. But talk to your vet first.
