I'm in the middle, I was just curious after reading all of these overweight/underweight questions.

by "easier" not meaning health wise.
Being judged, if you were underweight people might think you're anorexic.
If you were overweight people would think that they MUST be lazy or something.

I'm not real sure what you are asking but I am on the skinny side (maybe a few pounds underweight) and it really makes me mad when people make comments about how skinny I am, do you ever eat, are you anorexic, etc. I am just naturally skinny but I think it's rude to comment like that. Just the same as it's rude to tell someone their fat, etc.

It's much easier to be socially and physically to be underweight. Having been both I can say this with some authority. It's much easier to have clothes taken in, than let out. Also you can layer and bulk up with clothing.

I don't know what you mean by easier...but of course it is easier being underweight...
It's hard for overweight people to move around...that's why they breathe so hard...but they get to eat anything they want!

I have been both. It's easier being overweight. I was treated much worse when I was anorexic... people telling me I looked disgusting, staring at me, etc. Fat people are so commonplace now that nobody cares.
