I can't advise on your meds - however please believe me when I say the best way to overcome anxiety and depression whether it be acute or manic is by regular exercise - it activates endorphins - and a healthy eating - U start to feel like your on top of things and in control and you start to look 100% better. When you feel better your focus shifts away from the negative issues that build up inside, towards other distractions - confident self esteem, clothes, socializing!

There is no "best" medication. The medications affect different people differently. You don't say how long you have been on. If the side effects don't go away after a month of taking it, I would speak to your doctor about it and get his reccomendation. Don't let him dictate what you want though sometimes they dismiss complaints of side effects.

You need to call your doctor. He knows your health history, and he should be the only one you should discuss this with.
