That reminds me of the lazy bees and ants...
Maybe the original ants and bees tasted the forbidden fruits crumbs. We still can blame freewill, right?
It's about time to start reading different books, don't be lazy.

Actually, The Heavenly Father does NOT feed them, but did put the food into the biosphere. Birds, mammals, fish, and all other creatures have to work for their food/living, and often under far more harsh and cruel conditions than we humans. Just the act of hunting it, killing it, gathering it, or scavenging it, is, by definition, work.

This verse talks about anxiety not work. The point is not the animals do not work. They do. They build nests etc. They work hard in fact. However, they do not store things up "just in case" because they are "worried".
That is the issue. It would help if you look at the verse in context so that you can actually know what it mens instead of taking things out of context and making them mean what you want.

All animals work. All animals have to eat. They all gather or hunt for food. Even the birds you speak of have to work. They have to either look for food or hunt other little animals and eat them. The "heavenly Father" doesn't feed the birds or any other animal.

If you think flyingg around all day looking for food isnt work, youre sadlyt mistaken. A humming bird spends 90% of its awake hours looking for food to keep its massive metabolism functioning....

And we are atop for man governs beast, and makes beast his meal which he kills with his cunning from the one that cares for all.
