I would probably try to say it in a playing manner or sarcastic like WHOA what's that smell? Or "long night last night" you smell like booz. Be sure to laugh so they don't take offense.

I would if I knew the person if not and they were a co-worker and I was'nt on friendly terms and the b.o. was so bad you got sick from it then go to hr dept.
Also keep in mind before anything is said you may want to get to knw them and find the answer that way meaning it could be a health issue.
Letting others talk about it behind there back does not resolve the problem.

Hi, if i knew the person well , maybe i would let them know. If it was someone i didnt know then i would just let them get on with it. B.O. doesnt bother me, i know it sounds gross but it doesnt. I dont care if you sweat loads you sweat loads it wont matter how much deodrant you use. If people are talking about it behind there back then tell them not to, but if you are one of those people if its a work collegue then telll your manager people like them have no trouble in telling people what they think of them.

From experience: If you are in a work environment and you don't want to be taken rudely and be anonymous then here's what ya do. By a 2 pack of Lever 2000, put it in a gift box/bag, put a note in it (typed via computer) saying you are a concerned person amongst others that would appreciate it if they would start using the enclosed item making it a nicer working environment for ALL. Sincerely, co-worker(s).

If they have oily (gross) hair then put them an "oil change" kit together. LOL....

Hey we did this at work before & it did work. Some times people don't smell their own odor. They just have to be told.

if it is a close freind just sit him down and tell him that maybe he does smell as im sure that he would understand that you are not being harsh if you explain to them that it is for your own welfare as you dnt want ppl talking about you! you could say ' i brough some body wash for ma boyfriend but someone else brough it too do you want it' or give him one of them lynx set with deotrant, aftershave n shower gel saying the same (that ur bf got double for christmas)

I would tell them as kind as i possibly could. A few hours of embarrassment would be easier to cope with than having people talk behind my back. I think he would appreciate your honesty and thank you for it.

I would draw a diagram on how to buy and direct body spray to his armpits and the crack of his **** and present to him as a prze from everyone on his persistance in work, he'll gladly accept it with smiles, if that didnt work i'd phone the council garbage to investigate the toilet for a smell and get him to deal with them, if that didnt work get a big sticker and put it on his back saying im a smelly c**t

I would so tell them. I have told my friends to tell me if I have bad breath, body odor...and they understand when i tell them. I remember when i was sick in the hospital and had been on sponge baths for two weeks. My friends came to visit me and told me to my face that I stank. You can only do that to close friends though and it depends on the way y'all joke with each other.
If they isn't your friends though.. you can do little things like buy them new perfumes and offer them as gifts....etc.
