I also have very similar allergies as you do. I am allergic to (or cannot eat) many fruits, many vegetables, nuts, and sometimes beer and wine. Like you, I can also eat some foods when they are cooked thoroughly. Also like you, I didn't develop allergies until I was an adult! It's very annoying and aggravating. I would advise the following:
1. Avoid the foods which bother you the most -- completely. Don't even think of eating these. For example, nuts are something that you probably won't even be able to eat a little of.
2. Temporarily avoid the foods which bother you somewhat. After 12 months of avoiding the food, try eating a little of it. But don't overdo eating it! You will probably be able to tolerate it. Foods in this category may be beer or some fruits.
3. Do see an allergist and have an allergy test done. They usually do a prick test with small amounts of suspected allergens, to see how allergic you are. I had this done and found it useful even if it is a bit painful.
4. Get Allegra or Claritin -- allergy medications which help reduce allergic reactions when you get them. This helps an allergic reaction from getting worse.
5. Lastly, try to reduce stress in your life. I find that if I am more at peace and stress-free that I have less new allergies cropping up.
I hope this helps. Take care of yourself and try to enjoy the foods that you can eat...!

I would speak with an allergist about it. Our body changes over time and some new allergies could arise. Shots can work as long as you keep all of the apts. for the injections, it is pretty frequent in the beginning.
I have allergies but have gone for acupuncture (if you are open to it). It seems to work, I have asthma too and it has helped a lot!
If it is bothering your stomach I would check about irritable bowel syndrome. This could be the issue, not allergies. Just some advice = ) Good luck!

I grew up on rice and cashews--I know your pain.
What's worked for me is just abstaining from foods I'm allergic to. After a year or two of not eating them, I can eat them again.
At some point, almost as suddenly as the allergies appeared, they'll for the most part go away.
Of course, I say that, knowing I'll never eat citrus again.

Actually there is something that they do now that can remove all your allergens. I have a teacher who was going to the doctor for something like that. Just talk to your doctor about it.
