3 options:

1. This is a way of flirting with you. (not very likely).
2. She doesn't want to say "no way in hell", so she figures if she blows you off enough, you'll eventually understand that she's not interested. (happens quite often).
3. She's one of those girls who love the attention of having someone be on their leash emotionally. They'll give you just enough hope so you stick around and lay by their feet like a good puppy. As soon as you get discouraged and decide to give up, they'll throw just enough attention your way for you to stick around. Many of them will do this without even consciously thinking about it. They just want attention, that's all. (Unfortunately, I've seen this happen qutie a bit).

The most likely option is 2, but 3 is a real possibility.

Tell her at the end of the party that you're getting ready to leave for the club and ask if she'd like to come. If she says no, or she can't or she has to save the world from nuclear warfare, or wash her goldfish, or anything else, that's not a "yes", move on to this last step. (the excuse doesn't matter, she might think that an excuse will hurt you less, then just saying "no", but really a "no" is a "no" and nothing else). Your final attempt will be if she makes an excuse.
Her: "I'd love to, but I promised my friend I'd help her pick out a dress for her party".
You: "I totally understand, it's no big deal. You're totally missing out though, I'm going to have a blast. I'll give you another chance though, if you want. But this time you pick the date/place."

This lets her know that you have enough self-respect that you will not keep begging her to go out with you but at the same time if SHE wants to, you're giving her a second chance, just in case her excuse was real. And since it's up to her to pick a time and date, she won't be able to then make an excuse to not come and get away with it. What this also does is shows her that you think you have a lot to offer and that she SHOULD want this second chance to go out with you.

If she doesn't give you a date and place right then and does not do it within the next few days, then forget it, it's never going to happen.

Good luck.

In that case........it seems like she's not too interested. But ask her again. The most she could say is that again, yes, or no. I would also imagine that what she meant is something like "I'd go with you, if I don't have anyone else to go with, or if I'm not doing anything else". Of course I could be very wrong. So she may just be giving you a polite brush off. But I say go for it, and she what she does. Best of luck to you.

For different girls it means different thing but for most it does not mean no. There is this guy that likes me and i wasnt sure if i liked him so when he asked me out i said let me think about it and what it meant for me is i want to but i have to talk to my friends about it. So most likely she want to go she just has to tlak to her friends it is something a girl just has to do and dont ask me why i dont even know

If she said, "Of course I'll go with you" what would be the fun in that???

If she does then it'll be that much more rewarding when she does go with you..........

it could mean "no", "i don't want to hurt your feelings" or it could also mean "i want to say yes, but am too shy to say it directly"...depends on the girl and the situation...i'd ask her again at the party, but please don't act desperate...
