My father always carried a shot gun to put down animals that had been hit but did not die. We always made sure that there was no hope and those that there was hope for would be taken to a vet. My dad was also known for catching up with a @@holes like you and popping them one for leaving a animal laying in pain after hitting them and doing nothing about it. Good thing he was friends with a lot of cops.
