I am working on an art project, and I need to know the correct Japanese character for peace. I don't want to get it wrong, so if anyone could let me know what it is or where to find it, that would be much appreciated. Thank you!

This is the Japanese character for "peace": 平和, which is originally Chinese. Pronounced "heiwa" in Japanese and "ping he" in Chinese Mandarin. and "peng ho" in Cantonese.
The Chinese has another expression for peace which is "ping an"
平安 , pronounced "ping an" in Mandarin and "peng on" in Cantonese.
