What ever you do don't try and cut it of by yourself, it will probably hurt like hell and you will probably bleed like a stuck pig sort of let germs into the open cut from the instrument you use.
Go to the doctor he will sort it probably by tying a piece of thread round it, the skin will die, and fall of in it's own time.It might be a bit uncomfortable for a short time with no infection.
Oh by the way have a happy new year, that goes to all on Yahoo

i had a few, and my Dr just took some sharp small scissors and cut them off. don't know as i would have the nerve to do that, it did not hurt at all, so the scissors were really sharp, and he was fast.to do this yourself, sterilize the scissors with rubbing alcohol and the skin tag as well. i have also removed one myself, by tying a piece of thread tightly around the base, but it takes a few days, as the string cuts off the blood supply and it just falls off. leaving no mark..
or have your Dr do it..
good luck

yes you can. yes, it will bleed, but do you cry over a cut? a cut bleeds. besides, If you go to a dotcor, they will just cut it off themselves. so save some money and cut it off yourself
