You'll have to train him to go outside.
Take him outside regularly - when you wake up, and throughout the day. Take him outside if you see him squat to pee. Reward him with kind words and lots of petting if he goes outside. If you catch him peeing inside, say 'NO' and bring him outside. If he pees inside but you don't catch him, just clean it. Never get mad at him or rub his nose in it - stress / fear can lengthen the training process.

I have three dogs, and I taught them all the same. As soon as they pee in the house, give them a light smack (or not if you don't feel comfortable doing so) and tell them no, immediately put them outside, and once they go outside praise them. If your dog goes pee and you don't notice for a while, then it may be best for you not to punish them at that time because it won't know why you are doing so and become scared of you. Some dogs can be very stubborn or hard-headed and it can take a while for them to be trained. Nonetheless if you keep renforcing good behavior then eventually they will learn.

just to let you know they will pee till 6 months so get a good carpet cleaner like "Shout".
In answer to question: when your dog goes out and makes a pooh or pee reward them with a treat and that way they know that doing the business in the den they don't get a treat. Treats are so necessary to training so use them. My favourite is liver treats.
I have 3 dogs and they are so great!!! good luck to you..if you need help pls contact me for doggie help.

When the pupp pees in the house you need to tell him NO,point where it peed while saying No then take it outside it will start to get the point. When your pupp pees outside appraise the pupp a whole lot and give it treats!!
There is also this spray you can get its called "NO GO" House breaking aid. You can get it at petco,

Take it out more often. Or train it with wee wee pads. I did this with my first pup then eventually moved the wee wee pads outside and now he will run to the door when he has to go. At this age you still have to keep a very close eye.

the easiest way to train is to crate train. put the puppy in a crate when you are not home or when you are asleep. he will not go to the bathroom where he sleeps. than when you are home you can let him out alot and watch him. when he does go outside you should give him a treat and alot of praise.
he will catch on in no time.
good luck!!

Paper train it and then teach it how to pee outside. It's your responsibilty to train your animal. Someone had to teach you not to pee in your pants.

You have to scoop him up every time he wakes up & go right outside with him.You have to really be consistant at this even when you don't feel like it.Son he will wake up & go right to the door...Don't forget to congratulate him every time & he will know he is doing good..This works with females too...Good luck...
