Most of the 50's and 60's, even 70's, one could get a cup of coffee with refills for 5 to 10 cents.
In the 50's, a bottle of pop was most often 5 cents, sometime in the 60's it went up to 10.

I remember coffee in my moms cafe was bottomless 5 cents a cup. soda pop cost a dime. That was around 1955-1956
We could get into the movie, have soda, candy and popcorn for 25 cents!
When I started driving we had gas wars, I got 50 cents a day from my parents for lunch money I would fill my gas tank up!
Cheapest I remember is 6 cents a gallon...oh those were the days!

I know that in 1969 you could buy bottle cokes at school for a dime.I really couldn't say about the coffee, I didn't drink it then...Sorry.You could also buy a Hershey bar for a dime then too..WOW I'm old....

around the mid 60's...we had a soda machine at the gas station and it cost a dime to get on.
