You are allowed to take food bought outside the airport. Drinks have to be bought once you have gone through passport control, they are allowed to be taken on the aircraft. Suggest you check with the airline first, as the rules are changing all the time.

There is no restriction on solid food regardless of where it's purchased.
Small quantities of liquids and pastes (toiletries, etc.) may be brought on board. The containers must be 3 oz or less and all must fit in a 1 quart zip-lock bag. You must have it out and available for inspection at security.
Drinks purchased AFTER security (not passport control!) may be brought on board. Any drinks brought to security (except infant formula or milk for an accompanying infant) will be confiscated.
These are the US rules. Flights not arriving in or departing from the US may operate under different rules.

If bought in duty free you can take food and drink. Just a warning if you buy drink in duty free to bring back to uk and you have a connecting flight from eg london to newcastle you would need to put your drink in your suitcase due to the airport security. I found this out in December when I bought alcohol in Canada, flew into heathrow to join a connecting flight home and had to re-arrange suitcase to put the alcohol in.

purchase your drinks (bottled water, and so on) when you bypass with the aid of secure practices. you could take sandwiches, and so on with the aid of secure practices. No issue approximately taking drinks or nutrition on board the airplane. As for the video games interior your telephone, NO is the respond. you could play with DVDs or workstation video games after the airplane is at cruising altitude yet no longer something with the telephone.

You can if you buy it after going through security. You will have trouble getting those past the check point, but if you buy after you get to the gate, you can bring it on.
That being said, be considerate of your fellow passengers and avoid the spicy and smelly things like Pizza and other foods that will stink up the airplane.

you may bring water and food on board a plane if the bottle is still pressurized, but you will still get a harder time passing TSA or security checkpoint. You can always get water from the airplane by asking a flight attendant!
