Rice,Potatoes,Pasta,Flour and Bread, almost everything we eat is carbs. The point is to eat foods with low carbs. For example: instead of white rice, eat orzo pasta. It tastes great and is good for you. Instead of white potatoe, eat sweet potatoes, which in my opinion tastes way better than white potatoes. Instead of white flour, use whole wheat flour.Try to eat cereals made from whole wheat(Honey nut cheerios,Special K;you know the good stuff.) I wish you luck in losing weight if you are. i did eating low carbs. its great!!

You should never deprive yourself of a single macronutrient because macro nutrients are what give you energy.

Read the below \
You should know that going on a diet is a poor weight management and loss program to go on, it takes both takes a nutritious eating regiment as well as excercises.

Knowing this---why would you go on a Low Carb diet? Those two are poor matches. In order to loose fat you must provide your muscles with enough energy to keep excercising, and this goes for any diet elimintating nutrients from the diet. The purpose is not to eliminate your bodies nutrient intake rather to manage them. So I’m definitely not saying don’t eat low carb foods, I am saying watch the manner in which you take them in. Understanding how to fuel your muscles prior to exercise sessions and replacing fuel after workouts is critical or your body will break down muscle for fuel.

Charles Remington a health and body building expert states:

“Understanding how our muscles use the calories we eat as fuel for muscle contraction is the first step in knowing what to do and not to do. A basic nutritional knowledge tells us that proteins repair and rebuild cells, carbohydrates energize cells and fats provide hormonal foundation for cells. When we lack balance in protein, carbohydrates and fats are bodies adjust and can use all three as a source of fuel for muscle contraction and cellular energy.”

Eating a low carb diet or a diet that eliminates one of the needed nutrients results in decreased muscle power, increase muscle fatigue and low exercise performance and endurance.

Breads, sugar, fruit, chips....almost everything has carbs in it. Plain meat without gravy and other condiments is normally carb free. Most veggies are low in carbs too. Dill Pickles are a great snack, so is jello!

Carbs are anything white/yellow - Bread, potatoes, bananas, rice, crackers, corn, etc. they're startchy, and you feel full sooner after eating them.
