My workouts usually consist of jogging for 12 minutes, walking for 30 minutes, weight training, crunches, situps, and bicycling for 30 minutes but for some reason the little pooch in my stomach WILL NOT LEAVE!! Lol. I need some suggestions.

Keep in mind that your body takes 20 minutes of getting your heartrate over 60% of capacity (if you're 20 that's 123 beats per minute) to even begin to burn fat. That means that by doing 30 minutes of bicycle, you are only burning fat for 10 minutes. What you need is to burn more fat, and here's the best way to do it: do 60 minutes of cardio (heartrate 60-80%) three times a week, you do this when you first get up in the morning without eating anything. Also, this fat has probably been on your body for some time, meaning that it's "brown fat" and is the hardest to get rid of. So that it will take you at least three months of regular cardio, of increasing muscle, and of watching your diet all the time, before you ever see real changes. Don't give up, just work towards your goal and imagine yourself in your bathing suit this summer.

The fat on the stomach is the last thing to go. What you need to do is pick up your cardio. You can do a million crunches a day but if there's a layer of fat covering the abs, you'll never see them. You actually probably do have really strong abs, just a little fat over them! All you need to do is work out harder. Walking is great for beginning exercises. Maybe you should start jogging and doing sprints instead, and kick up the resistence when you bike.

Gemma speaks much truth. You can work your abs all you want, but if you have fat on top, you won't see the definition.

You need to eat good (cut out the sugars, fats, etc), and keep up with your cardio training. Basic fat burning is around 30 min of cardio at your target heart rate (so make sure your heart rate is up there, if it isn't, you need to raise the intensity), and the longer you go, the more fat is burned.

As long as you aren't overtraining, you can shoot for an hour of cardio 4-5 times a week. Monitor your body fat % (get it measured at your gym or get a scale/ monitor for yourself that measures it) every couple of weeks to see if you are making progress. If not, you might need to start counting calories to make sure you are burning off more than you are taking in each day (at a healthy level of course).
