You're talking about two sides of the same coin, essentially. They are actually intertwined. Faith is something you have and G.R.A.C.E. has been called G-d's Riches At Christ's Expense, which is to say that it refers to the free gift of G-d which makes salvation possible at all. Your faith is the process of acceptance, as one receives a gift. The giver is GRAC(E)IOUS, and you believe (by faith) that the gift is yours. May His grace continually abound in your life. I have listed some links to websites of mine for your continued edification.

It is Justification by Grace through Faith. They are not contradictory at all. They are both theologically sound. Grace is the means by which we are saved, and faith is like the hand that reaches out and accepts that Grace. Grace is like the a check given to us by a benefactor, and faith is the act of taking that check to the bank to cash it.
Ephesians 2:8
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—

They are really the same concept. Justification means being made right with someone. So we are made right with God through grace (ie, a gift from God) or by faith (ie, our belief in God's willingness to justify us). Both concepts stand against "justification by works" which means that we earn the justification (put crassly, we earn our way into heaven).

faith means believing something to be true, grace is more like acting in a beautiful or meaningful way. Either way, the true essence of both words is goodness. Faith, when used properly is good, and grace, when used properly is good. So in my opinion, you should have justification by goodness.

The New Testament teaches quite clearly that we are justified by faith. It is by grace that we are saved. Being just is being able to stand in righteousness before God.

Justification by faith means you trust God to do it. Justification by grace means God did it.

Out of context, rubberhead. "We are justified by faith in the work of Jesus Christ." "Saved by grace alone, least anyone should boast."
