The first Christians were Jews that accepted Jesus as the messiah. Later, pagans wanted to convert to Christianity. The leaders of the church decided that the pagans didn't have to convert to Judiasm before becoming Christian, and so a new religion- Christianity- was born.

I can see why you would ask that, but no, they are not. They are different in the fact that they do not hold to the old law, to the last little bit. They have more freedom. The jews, pretty much like the Old Testament. They are just missing out on a lot, and are missing Jesus now, just like their forefathers did long ago, when he was here in person. Some came to belief, and some still are.

I think that is a valid comment considering alot of Christian texts do 'borrow' from Jewish writings. However the 'Greek' influence of Christianity is something any Orthodox Jew would be unlikely to abide.
So whilst on one level I would wholeheartedly agree with you oweing to Christianity very much being a product of it's Greco-Roman roots I doubt it could ever really be truly considered Jewish!

In a manner of speaking. The Jews are God's people of blessing through Abraham. Fortunately God's love is extended to all through Jesus. Therefore we as non-Jews have been grafted into the the same tree(family) through faith in Jesus the Christ.

No. They are people who have accepted Christ as their personal saviour. Have you accepted Him, that is what's more important at this juncture, because His return is very near. But not only that it will make your life on earth a lot more satisfying.
