This link will take you to the ULS, where you need to get an FRN, and then apply and pay the fees for your license.

You first need to REGISTER. You must have an FRN, a number associated for business with the FCC, a sort of licensee account number, if you will. This is free.

After registering, then you need to go to the ONLINE FILING and begin the process.

Once logged in you need to look for the column on the left and click on "apply for new license" After that, you will see a pull down menu of choices. You want the last option "ZA- General Mobile Radio"

From there, keep the default settings and continue. You are not exempt from any fees.

From there it will collect your information. It *should* be fairly straightforward. After the application is done, you need to pay the fees. There should be a direction to go. It has been awhile since I got mine and I don't want to apply for another one :)

Try this site. You can apply via the FCC Universal Licensing System or do it on line.
