The best way to share the good news of Jesus is in the way that you live your life. When you are being less so that God can be more and God does His good works through you there is a definate impact on those around you. In following the commandment to love our neighbor as our self we are reaching into the world for Jesus. We all have our spheres of influence, giftings and talents. We are to use them to help others in their needs. When we love on people with the perfect love that God loves us with and we let it overflow to those around us, people are drawn to light of Jesus in us. Now they are coming to you and trying to find out how they can get what you have. The walls are down and the barriers dissappear and people are really ready to hear that Jesus loves them just as they are without reservation or prejudice.

If you want to reach those in the neighborhood of your church, going for a walk and invite those you come in contact with to your church. If you are able to have conversation and pick up on a need that they have, even if you don't, ask if there is anything that they would like you to pray about in their life or the life of someone close to them. I have found that when you offer to be of help and are sincere, without manipulation or condition, that most people have no objection to being invited to know about God or invited to become closer to Him. This does not mean that they will follow through, however, you have touched their life and planted God's seed in their life as well. You have done your part, the rest is between God and that person.

As Christians we are the light of God to the world and we should be helping our neighbors to find, discover and walk the path to God that is freely given and offered to all mankind. How we are to do this is defined or given clarity when we discover, through our own personal relationship and walk with God, the purpose of our individual creation and walking on the path that God made just for each of us.

go to my myspace www.myspace.com/killratio4
and there are two videos on the top right in the about me section. The second one is a basic example of how many Christians share their faith effectively. Find good gospel tracts, pass one out, and say, Can I ask you a question, or Can you help me with a project I'm working on?

Then say, What do you think is on the other side when you die?
Or even say, Do you think you are a good person?

Listen to their answers, and find counteranswers. Ray Comfort has a book called Biblical school of evangelism that is an awesome resource for that.
Eventually take them through at least four of the ten commandments until they've broken a few. Ask them if they were to satnd before God, would they be innocent or guilty? Then ask them if they are concerned. Then tell them that Jesus paid the price for them and if they accept him in their hearts they will recieve eternal life. memorize important Bible verses and gain courage and faith and knowledge, and you are equipped to go on the battlefield. Trust me, God is pleased by this!

Jesus said to preach about the good news of the kingdom Matt 24:14. How did Jesus preach? He taught his disciples to go house to house.
Matt. 10: 11-15 "Into whatever city or village you enter, search out who in it is deserving, and stay there until you leave. When you are entering into the house, greet the household; and if the house is deserving, let the peace you wish to come upon it, but if it is not deserving, let the peace from you return upon you. Wherever anyone does not take you in or listen to your words, on going out of that house or that city shake the dust off your feet. Truly I say to you, it will be more endurable for the land of Sodom and Gormorrah on Judgment Day than for that city."

Acts 5:42 "And every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ Jesus."

Acts 20:20 & 21 "while I did not hold back from telling you any of the things that were profitable nor from teaching you publicly and from house to house. But I thoroughly bore witness both to the Jews and to the Greeks about repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus."

We should talk to everyone we come in contact with. It is an important message, even if they don't want to hear it. They are making their choice.

Jehovah's Witnesses know how to do it. That is why they are one of the fastest growing religions in the world.

Jesus Not Entirely Good
"And behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments." (Matthew 19:16-17)

Comment
Most Christians believe that Jesus, not only lived as the Son of God but God in the flesh. Consider that Jesus here calls "none good but one, that is, God," pointing to an entity separate from himself (also see Matt. 5:48)

Also note that because of the belief that none other than God "is" good suggests that Jesus must not have behaved in an entirely good manner himself.

Some early Gnostic cults (judged as heretics by the orthodox church) believed Jesus as the Devil in the flesh and these verses suggests that He was the opposite of good-- Evil in the disguise of God.

Jesus Reveals Himself

"I am the root and offspring of David, and the bright and morning star." (Revelation 22:16)

Comment

This verse presents the most shocking revelation in the entire Bible. On the very last page, it reveals Jesus as the "bright and morning star". In other words, Lucifer-- Satan!

In Isaiah 14:12, St. Jerome, translated the Hebrew "morning star" into the Latin term "Lucifer" (light bearer), a name commonly ascribed to Satan by Christians, and represents the fallen star, an ancient symbol for the fallen or evil one. The mourning star actually appears as the planet Venus, the brightest "star" in the sky (but the ancients did not know about planets). Venus always appears low on the horizon, thus it looked like a fallen star (fallen angel) to the believers.

Although the Isaiah verse describes the fallen king of Babylon, Christians have, for centuries, ascribed Satan as taking many forms. And what more powerful form could an evil being take than to pretend himself as the saviour of the world? This would certainly explain the hate filled verses attributed to Jesus and the blind followers who inherit ignorance. Thus, a conclusion, based on Christian beliefs of Satan, and the belief in the "inerrancy" of the Bible, one must conclude that Jesus has revealed himself as Satan!

What a Revelation!

There is this organization called Dare2Share and they hav conferences in different cities. i went to one and got a book that was called Dare2Share: A Field Guide to Sharing Your Faith. Here's something i found. (written by author Greg Stier)

When Greg was 12, his youth pastor gave them a "homework" assignment: go to a mall for 30 minutes on a Saturday and just sit on a bench. watch the strangers, and as they go by, imagine the words "Going to Hell" written on their forehead. i thought this was kind of corny, and so did Greg at the time. so i did the same thing at school. i

What does this have to do with your question? If you do decide to do this, its an incredible "eye-opener". It made me wantto bring up my beliefs with everyone. I'm scared to death of the thought that my friends would go to hell. If you're nervous at first, try practicing sharing the basic story of Christ with a Christian friend. it'll make you much more confident.

Last but not least, pray to God that the Holy Spirit will be in your heart while you share Christ with anyone.

Well, I like to begin by living a life that shows that I am a follower of Jesus the Christ. They will hopefully see in your life what they want in their. Then study the Bible, so that when those that spew their doubt attack you, you will be strong in knowledge and faith. Don't be afraid to use the name of Jesus. If you do not love Him enough to use His name, you need to get stronger. I use this site and page. There are so many misguided here that need to hear the Gospel YBIC

St. Francis said; "preach the gospel always, use words if necessary". Its the same old saying; "talk is cheap". Its never about what we say, but about what we do. Just look at the success St. Francis achieved, having the city of San Francisco, and most ever other city in California, named after him.

Remember that some seeds thrown to the side grow in snares and weeds and never grow.
Others fall in good soil, and grow good fruit.
The Spirit in you will let you know who and when to talk to, and the Spirit will also guide those who need or want to hear to you.
Have faith in God, and the Spirit of God will be there.

I wouldn't recommend walking up to random people or going door to door. I think its very rude when Christians try to push their religion on other people. When people come to my door to try to convert me, I politely tell them to leave and to stay away from my home. Just because Christianity works for you, doesn't mean that it is the only right religion.

Search for where God is already working and then join Him. Listen for questions people may ask, what are they really asking? Look for oppurtunities and pray that God will give you oppurtunities. Be careful if you pray that because He will expect you to be prepared when the time comes.
