I did it on purpose as it barks a lot,but I think someone saw me-is it illegal to kill a dog on purpose?

You should not have ran over the dog deliberately. It's the nature of the beast to bark (and some constantly). I don't believe there is a law making it illegal, however, this gets into a philosophical discussion. Philosophically, I believe you were very wrong for deliberately running over the dog. Switch places with your neighbour for just a moment. You are now the person with the yappy dog. Even though it is yappy, you love it and it's part of your family. Your neighbour has gotten tired of the dogs barking and without saying a word, the neighbour runs over your dog intentionally because it constantly barks. Now be honest with yourself. Would you condone your neighbour's decision? How would you feel about your animal being dead (remember: you love this animal and it's part of your family)? Your neighbour has just told you they ran over and killed your dog because it was yappy. What would you want from your neighbour? How would you respond to your neighbour? Would you call the police? Probably. What do you think the police would think about the incident once you tell them that your neighbour ran over your dog deliberately. My assumption would be that they would think it was an intentional VIOLENT act. This, you can go to jail for. Not because you killed the dog, but the violent act that killed it. And yes, it could mean prison time.
My suggestion is that you get some counselling. Yes it is true. A barking dog is annoying. I put up with it constantly. Barking dogs does not constitute killing the dog even though you may feel like it. There are many other ways to deal with the issue. You have acted on a violent impulse and so at this time, you cannot classify yourself as a rational person. You need to get counselling to overcome reacting to your impulses, especially the violent ones! You need to strengthen the rational part of you so you can overpower the irrational impulsive part of you. In order to do this, you need to seek counselling.

You should call the police because they will find you anyhow. Shame on you---do you kill everything/everybody that irritates you?? Animal control or even the police would have helped you.That was someones pet. I hope it never happens to you.

you should of called the law because their dog was barking all night and day and you cant stand it!How dare you kill a poor little animal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you should be prosecuted ! anyways you will get arrested soon so i would just turn myself in because they will catch ya anyways. so i watched animal cops and they did that to some1 b4 so i would turn myself in i mean i would do it and anyways they will be surprised that some1 turned themselves . how could you do that ! if some1 killed my dog i wou;d off killed them fist and i would say yea i killed him because he was doing animal cruelty!and if u are in the hospital they will put you in jail admetily!so you should call and tell the animal popo's and then tell ur neighbors ok ur just mean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1urghhhh boyy!!!!!!!!!im really mad !

HOW COULD U DO THAT?! What did that poor defense-less animal ever do to u?! That is cruel and can be reported and u can be sent to jail. Which i hope u do because thats just not right. And you shouldn't be going around killing inisent animal for that matter.....
