Lady's, why are you so obsessed with losing weight?

STOOOOP THE MADNESS!!! Did it ever occur to any of you that me and many guy's like me love bigger healthy women. I can't stand these skinny women running around saying there fat, when all there really saying is look at me, I'm anorexic is'nt great.

Cause the ladies want to look like the models they see in the media that the majority of people IDOLIZE.
I agree with you though, healthy is the most beautiful - you are way ahead of the times.

I know my man loves my curves and I like them too. But the only thing that I want to get rid of is the stomach I have after having 3 kids. I do not think that bone thin women are attractive. I just want to pull them aside and feed them or something. I do not condone obese people either. I don't want to suffer the breathing and other health problems that many of them come in contact with. I come from a long line of healthy women and I want to stay that way for my children's sake. I got to keep up with them, those lil rascals are fast. Besides sometimes i just would like to get into this cute red bikini and show all my curves.

P. S. One thing that I lucked out on is that if my body fat shows a little bit, I don't have any stretch marks to make people gag. Ha, HA! So ladies eat, have no regrets and be a little bit more active.

Actually, anorexia is a disease that many women can't control. It starts out as a diet but then many women love the attention they receive by people complimenting on their "thinness". I agree with you in that it is madness, but the only way to really help them is to get professional help (if it goes too far). I once was anorexic years ago, but I didn't get too far gone when I decided that I was digging myself an early grave. Now I just exercise and eat right without worry. A lot of it has to do with the media and the portrayal of Hollywood, models etc who have a stick thin figure. Thank goodness there are more famous women today with normal healthy figures like Jennifer Lopez and Jessica Biehl. Just hope other women love themselves enough to be happy with their body.

i'm an athlete, and there is various of stress to be skinny/ in positive condition, and that i'm very obsessed! Our weight education coaches continuously let us know that its not how lots you weigh...yet you p.c. of physique fat and what you consume! Im 5"2 and weigh approximately one hundred ten pounds!

Don't be so sexist. I'm sick of everyone complaining about how only WOMEN try to lose weight and how only WOMEN do this and do that. Everyone who thinks that way is ignorant as hell. Oh and I agree with the first person. Fat, really chubby people and overweight people are NOT attractive. Neither are stretch marks, and cellulite, rolls of fat, and not fitting into clothes.

There's a reason why women are obsessed, its because of men. I think we develop like a complex because of the men that we have been with, and are currently with. For example, I'll feel real good about myself one day, and I'll go out with my boyfriend, and if I see him look or even glance at someone that I feel looks better than me, then it just reinforces my idea that I don't look good enough.
