Is it me or every teen girl is like this....?

Question

I have only been in 1 serious relationship which lasted for about 3 1/2 years and now I am in my second relationship. We have been together for a 1 year now and I don't know why when I we start getting serious and I fall in love I automatically think about having a baby. But I know I can't right now because Im in school and we are not financially stable yet but I don't know why I dream of having his child. But this is wierd!!!....when my period is late I panic and get scared and don't want to have one all of a sudden! If I want a baby with him then why do I get scared when my period is late. We even use protection and I get scared.
But I know ya'll are going to trip off of this....I just want to be pregnant but I dont want to go through the stage of giving birth. But I do want a child. lol

I am on birth control and I am a sophmore in college

I think I want one because I have a 5 month old baby sister, a 6 yr old sister and a 3 yr old brother and I love taking care of my baby sister.

I think the reason you get scared is because it is such a life changing experiance. You may want a baby but it will change your life so much. Even when u are married and trying to have a baby, when you find out your pregnant you get nervous. Its very natural to feel this way. It just seems like you eventualy want a child but are not ready to have one right now. what your feeling is nothing abnormal

I'd finish school first before having a child. If you're afraid of giving birth then try adoption. I haven't had children but I think in every woman's mind at sometime during pregnancy they get scared of actually having to give birth. Especially after every girl you know talks about how it hurt or this and that. But yeah I'd finish school first. Maybe you being scared is way of your mind telling you you're not ready to have children. So I'd wait and make sure he's the right guy and will support you and a baby.

u have a long way to go & many opportunities for having a baby. i wouldn't rush it & i think you know some of the consequences of having a child, so that's what makes you scared & worried once you think you're pregnant. I'd seriously think more about the guy<< before having a baby, cuz if you're unsure about the guy & he's not a suitable father - then you're the one who's gonna altimately be in dept & regret afterwards... there's sooo many other things you can do w. your life - right now, a baby would just give you limitations.

Many girls go through the wanting a baby thing. You are fine. I'm also impressed that you are maintaining long term relationships. Many young girls float from boy to boy. Just keep working on getting life together consider using birth control pills or shots and don't be so hard on yourself. You really have a lot of time to have babies.

You had a 3 1/2 year serious relationship in high school and then another for a year???? Honey, you are FAR too young to be thinking about babies. You are FAR too young to be thinking about serious relationships. Get on birth control and start thinking about getting serious enough to buy a home and get married. THEN think about babies.

It's absolutely normal for a young woman to fantasize about becoming pregnant, and to want children. That's just your biology talking.

But PLEASE, do yourself - and your future children - a favor by finishing school, going to college, and making sure you have a good paying steady job to support them with BEFORE you get pregnant. Trust me, there is PLENTY of time to get pregnant, since the average woman doesn't hit menopause until her 50's.

Also, it's normal to feel scared about the prospect of having a child (even if it's desperately wanted and planned) because that's you committing YOUR life to the well-being and the very survival of another human being. That child will be totally dependent upon you for many, many years.

I think you should consider getting some counsellings. No teen girl should want a baby at this time in her life. Tell someone how you are feeling, like a parent or school staff. They will help you get back on the right track.

look i'm 18 and i have two kids girl dont have kids intilll u are marry and have a house and your husband is good to u girl dont make the same mistake... if u want to leave 2 year clean up pop and peep everywhere then go.. but if u want to go out with ur friends and have fun dont that what i got to tell u is not easy .... stayin up all night in the hospital ... because ur baby is sick or she doesn't want to sleep u will go crazy trust me i know///

Well... I guess that all Females want baby's because it is instinct to want to care for a child. But your brain, filled with birth facts, tells you its gonna hurt alot and is stimulating fear. the best thing to do is adopt a kid or just have a baby.
