Boys can be jerks. By the sound of it he may be cheating, but it's a low possibility if you only saw him with his mates. I think you should definately confront him otherwise you're going to feel like this for some time; and until you do something about it he's not going to stop by the sounds of it. If he's rude to you face to face then dump him. He's not worth it.

Clare has the frame of mind you should adopt dear. your boyfriend is not alone in his actions. I watch and I see people on here double dating as you would think it. It is mostly fun, though people so insecure do not see it that way. If your boyfriend loves you he will realise sooner or later that he is in the wrong by not putting your mind at rest and accepting your invitations. The fact you know he wiles his time away on here when he said he was elsewhere is a pity. Though it does sound like you need to relax a little in case you read too far between the lines and you end up with humble pie.

complaining to other people does not help. you have to complain to the person you are having the problem with. people on answers gives opinion of what they think, sometimes things that you agree with and sometimes things that you don't. it is best if you ask your boyfriend. asking us wi;; help in some ways. you're a woman and every woman thinks differently. maybe someone on here will give you wrong advice and then you end up doing the wrong thing and im sure that is not what you want. confront your bf and tell him what you wrote. and see what he says.

that's the best way to go about it love
good luck and god bless you always.

I think its you thats wasteing your time.

This lad clearly doesnt want to give you the time you need. But to lie about what hes doing is a bit pathetic- unless he thought you'd kick off if he said he just didnt want to see you. I take it hes in his teens..?

If he cant be bothered to make the effort for you, why do the same with him. I dont think he'll be cheating- just wants his own space.

Instead of thinking that he's cheating on you, have you thought that maybe you're being a little too clingy and possessive? Being with his friends and chatting on the Net may just mean he either wants time away from you or he's having some personal problems and wants time to himself. Either way, he just doesn't want to be around you right now, so give him space.

Maybe he just needs space to hang with his friends and feels you wouldn't like that, so in order to keep the peace, he lied. He was with his "mates" which I take to mean guy-friends. Please give the guy his space and let him go where he wants to.......he's going to do that either behind your back or in front of you. If you don't hassle him or check on him, you may find he becomes more comfortable about telling you the truth........or worst case scenerio: He is cheating..........if so, kick him to the curb and move on. You deserve better.

Sound slike he just wants a bit of a break. Nothing up with that.

It would be different if yous really were best friends too but it doesnt sound like it.

Don't get too wound up on it

Maybe he just needs a bit of space. Ask him if there is anything wrong? I think you should confront him next time he slips up!

He's obviously hiding something. Why don't you just ask him outright. You may not like the answer, but better to know now, than carry on torturing yourself.

On his drive, on the computor, playing football????? Where is the sneakiness in any of that, that warrants you to think he is cheating. Is he in the pub, not coming home at nights, strange messages on his mobile - wake up - your parnoid and that alone will chase someone away.
