Girl, make sure the guy is truly seperated from his wife. I'm about going through the same thing. I am super confident in who I am and what I'm about. I too have a realistic outlook and believe that if things are meant to be they will be. Just make sure that you know your boundries and in the long run can get hurt. I wish you the best!

I suppose it may be technically "okay" if you know for a fact that they are planning to divorce and that the wife is in agreement on this too. The thing is if they are seperated and have not yet filed for divorce then there my be a reason for that and you shouldn't stand in the way of them possibly fixing their marriage or at least ending it without the influence of a third party.
Technicalities aside, I just don't think it is a good idea for a person to date for a while after a divorce nor is it good to date a newly divorced person. They need to figure some things out and you shouldn't be the rebound girl. Do you really want all that backage? Give the guy time at least. He may not want it but it is better for both of you in the long run.

Well this is the way I would look at it. He is not divorced yet right ? And cant the realistic outcome be that he could get back together with her ? So that leaves me thinking "Damn, this guy sure didn't waste any time getting together with other women before his divorce was even complete." I would think that if he would do this to her just image what he will do to you.

A confident woman should know better than to get involved with a separated yet married man. Reality should overcome her reasons why she thinks she needs to settle for him.

I say stay away until he is divorced, you do not know how deep your emotions will go and you do not what to set yourself up for heart ache. If he means that much 2 you and you 2 him you guys can be friends until the divorce

I wouldnt date him until he showed me that they are legally separated because it has to deal with trust and let him know that you wont accept him on just any terms
