a busy guy with work and stuff like that how much time till he realize he is alone ?

It doesn't take long to realize, but your defensive mechanism kicks in and you start looking for the positive in being single. I've been single for a couple of years now and I've realized that I'm lonely very quickly, but I've made the best of it. Focused on my work, family, friends, on bettering myself. I soon learned that I can be happy by myself, not because I'm selfish or egocentric, but because I am a complete person by myself, I don't need anyone to be my crutch or to come and fix me. So now I don't look for a dependent relationship, where I won't feel lonely anymore. I look for a relationship that brings out the best in both of us and is a mature adult partnership of mutual respect and love rather than that of a temporary infatuation and dependency. Sure I get lonely at some holidays, or when I see some friends who are deeply in love, and I certainly haven't decided to stay single.
So how long does it take? Not long at all. But maybe he's realized, just like I did, that the world doesn't end when you're single and you don't have to desperately search for someone just so you are not by yourself.
Gain his respect, let him see how much you have to offer and he might just be reminded of how single he is.

Not long problably, I work 2 jobs so I am very busy ! And I spend what little free time I have sleeping! Temporary I hope :P

It depends on the guy. I'm introverted so I never really feel lonely.

perhaps he is keeping busy because he knows he is alone..
