if he's your boyfriend then he should already be your date......ask him if he wants to go he's not going to know unless u tell him

He's your boyfriend, tell him you want to go. It's not fair to hope and hint that he'll ask you, then be pissed if he doesn't.
I'm assuming that you're in high school, so here's a tip: As you get older, and the relationships get deeper, the ability to communicate will always be the top priority. Learn that lesson now!
Tell him you want to go, go and have a good time!

Who cares as long as you get to go! Why not just say, "Wouldn't it be fun for us to go to the winter formal? I'd really like to go with you."
If you spend your life waiting for people to read your mind, you'll miss out on a lot of activities.

i will tell you what, i have a whole theroy about this, ill give you the short version,
girls nowadays always hang out in their own little group and like to do things as a group, especially dances.
now how is a boy supposed to ask out a girl when the girl has plans with her friends? cause than he is pretty much asking the girl " hey can i go to the dance with your group?" ya know?
this may not be the case but i always ran into this when i was asking girls to dances

He should not have to ask you since he is your boyfriend. I say sit down and talk about it....if he seems like he wants to go push the subject but if not go with a group of your girlfriends!

Why not just ask him to go. Playing games always seems to be such a waste of time. If he says no, then you won't have to waste any more time on him.
