Well, I recently became very good friends with this person that I go 2 school w/. We are very compatible and we get along so well that some people around me are actually asking if we two are going out, which I always laugh at politely and say no. I began to crush on him a few months ago and while I wish it was possible, I know that a relationship with him is just not going to happen any time soon, because the thing is he's got a girlfriend! I respect that he's in a relationship with a great girl (for quiet a long time now). I also realize that he and I are two very flirty people and we usually end up play-shoving each other in the hallway or walking to classes with each other (our class shcedules are very similar). How do I determine if he and I are just friends or if there's something more? He's very attentive to me and to tell you the truth but I don't want to cause a rift in his relationship with his gf by taking this too far, even if I try to resist.

We're both 17 and the thing is, we ended up dancing with each other only at this party for a mutal friend of ours...also, he and I have this ridiculous on-going joke that no one else gets...we have several...needless to say we're getting close. I just don't want to be led on, ya know?

wow GIRL i was in the same EXACT situation a few months ago! this guy... school... flirting... he had a girlfriend. blah blah. SAME THING. but i will tell you that it ended.. in him breaking up with his girlfriend.. and a few weeks later, me and him got together. so just wait it out, and see if he will choose you over his current girlfriend. i no its hard, but u will have to resist him until then and control yourself. hopefully things go ur way. im wishing the best for you! i no how it feels girl, so just keep your head up and GOOD LUCK! :)

I think you should wait it out a bit. The chase is sometimes more fun than that catch... especially what appears to be your age (though you are quite articulate and write better than most adults). Enjoy the flirtations and the excitement of the unknown for now. He clearly won't be with this gal forever, and when he breaks up you can step things up a bit. Have fun!

Don't make a move. Just keep things the way they are. You two are both young and hes obviously not going to be with this girl for very long. So just wait it out.

Well, dont think you cant get him. Just be posiive, wait, if he is an an realtioship, then just wait it out, and become closer. Beacuse if you guys are close then , there is a chance that he might break up with her to , go out with you, GOOD LUCK :)
