I wouldn't suggest using Excel for a resume because when it comes time to email it to people (and in this generation, that is usually what you do), most employers would wonder why you did it in Excel instead of Word.

Word has several resume template formats and most employers want a Word resume. I'm curious why you'd want to do it in Excel.

There is no reason to use it for a resume.

I would use Word. The document will be easier to read and print from any computer you send it to.
