These days, my boyfriend seems to love his video games or sports more than he loves me. He'll spend hours watching the football or playing online games and he'll ignore me completely. It's only recently that this has been happening and its like he's a totally different person these days.
I also like to play video games, but I don't spend the majority of my day playing them, like he does.

I don't know what to say to him because if I were to make him choose between me and his games, that'll make me a horrible girlfriend. It also makes me look obsessive if I constantly keep nagging him to spend more time with me.

What should I do about him? We're old friends and we've been going out for a while now, I don't want this to ruin our relationship.

Keep on inviting him to go out and do stuff you both enjoyIf he has a favourite restaurant or something, offer him to opportunity to go with you. Just encourage him to spend time with you outside the house, that way his video games will be out of sight at home and he'll focus on you.

Sounds like he isn't going to change and you need to get out of the relationship quickly. My brother is into video/computer games and that's all he does from the time he gets home from work which is 11pm, to about 3am and then he gets up at about 9 or so and starts playing again and then he goes to work at 2....it will never stop this has been going on for years now. He's 27. I think you should sit down and talk to him about this have a serious talk, and then set aside some special times throughout the week for just the two of you. If that doesn't work, leave him.

You should replace the video games with wicked sex. No kidding. Get the dude out of the house and do other stuff as much as possible. Eventually he won't yearn for the games as much. When home you have to be the ultimate seductress in the world. Stand in front of the tv nakes or jump on him while he's at the computer.

Well it seems to me it's time to break out the heavy artilary and give him some thing else to think about, start giving him a sneak peek at what he is missing. Like maybe wear a very short skirt and no undies and find a reason to bend over in front of him during one of his games and see what happens.

Find something funner than video games that he would want to do. Dome guys are a little immature, but it isprobably just a phase since it just started.

easiest way would be to plan events. that way it limits his time. thats what me and my gf do. she doesnt like them pierod. but she does plan things for us. and i try to not play when she is home. that way when things are going on we dont have this problem. but if u have nothing going on and your just sitting around the house hes going to play the games. as for the sports im assuming since its football season you are talking about that. well its playoffs. and your not going to win that one. leave it alone. guys and football are like you in shopping thats just the way it is. after supperbowl it wont be a problem. unless hes like me and nascar is starting soon. thats almost a full year. lucky for me my gf likes nascar.
