so i need some advice on mission support etiquette. i'm about to embark on my first-ever overseas mission but fundraising is going slow. i've never done this before i am just curious about how to go about any next steps. soon after i sent out my support letters i had some people say they would commit to a financial donation. BUT they have not yet done so. my final deadline is February 15 but half of my support is due to our coordinator by January 15. I have not raised even a 1/3 of that.

is it righ to re-contact those who said they would give but have not yet? or what do you suggest i do?

i guess i am not trusting and being patient enough, but i am kind of freaking out. help!!!! any advice is appreciated.

I would suggest writing a personal letter to each person that made a commitment, thanking them for their promise of a contribution of $X.XX. I'm sure that they will be interested to know that the first installment is due on January 15, and you would appreciate any help they could give you in meeting that deadline. Also, it seems to me that you should be making a contribution to the trip as well--after all, if you aren't convinced of the (financial) value of making this trip, why should anyone else support it?

Your father would desire to renowned the type of individual you're if he asked you to step in whilst he grew to become into away. He should not be surpsierd on the variations you have tried to make. What you have completed is make the area extra useful for all workers. I propose you create a catalogue on your father detailing the variations you have made, why you made them, and the reaction of all workers. you're able to paintings with him on making specific the superb ones tay in place. (Smoking indoors may well be unlawful on your city.) it form of feels to me your father is merely too busy to shield the daily administration of his workers and would hire an place of work supervisor or HR supervisor. He surely needs to create an worker supervisor itemizing the dos/dont's. It will additionally record the end results of no longer following them (positioned on probation, getting fired.) If the employer is to boost then he will would desire to fireplace the slackers. you're able to desire to enforce working hours and breaks because of the fact or you're paying human beings for no longer working and others would desire to hold the burden. one factor is to take an prolonged lunch on Friday in spite of the undeniable fact that it is going to likely be a uncommon occassion no longer the norm.

Relax. It's just after the holidays and people are strapped for cash. Remember, through Him all things are possible.
