Yes, this is a very beautiful quote.
It's very hopeful, positive and action-oriented. It's about caring and teamwork. It reminds us that we are not alone in the world and that we do count and we can make a difference.
It just occurred to me now that this quote implies that non-violent action is the way to change the world rather than through violence. So this quote also is encouraging us to believe that world peace is possible and can exist. Everything is up to us - "thoughtful, committed citizens".

I love this quote.
