Why does it feel that you play games while dating and even when or while you're in a relationship? I hate games...I've alwasy been honest and real, yet why is it that most people find it difficult not to play games while dating or in a relationship?

that's an age old question. some people feel the need to play games to keep things exciting. or they just like drama. I remember i was playing "games" with this guy and he didn't put up with it for very long. I liked him to. I sure learned my lesson. i don't play the "games" anymore. i like being real. its much less stressful that way. So keep it real girlfriend

Some people like the drama and never seem to grow up. Sometimes games are played because we allow it. Don't give them the time or day or power to play games with you. Just keep moving on and eventually you will find someone mature enough to respect you and themselves and would rather enjoy life and be happy instead.

You clearly don't have the patience for games - nor should you be required to. If it's harmful to you, express your desire and need to end it. If he won't end the games, he doesn't deserve you.
Games tend to dissipate a bit as men get older. But some men never learn. And we all play them, although some are very good about dropping the games when they're caught playing them, since many of us don't know that we do.

Hey im with you on this one.......games are silly, and ultimatley damaging. Ive even caught myself getting involved in playing head games with my girlfriend. But ive decided to stop and be honest and straight up no matter what she does. And i think thats all you can do: look after your own end of things and no matter what happens you'll always know you did the right thing.

i feel the same way - but most people, i find, play games simply cuz they are unsure of just being themselves... you know what i mean? it's all an act until you prove to them exactly how down-to-earth & true U are.
