ok well i have known this guy for ever i mean he is 4 years older than me he was a senior when i was a freshman.. he use to hang out with my older brother all the time... now that im a senior and he is now 21 we have been partying alot together.. well one night we just decided to do it and we did ever since then we have done it practiclly everytime we see eachother and if we dont we are always cuddling up against one another.. the only bad thing is.. is that all of his friends are my friends and they think that if we started to date then they would see less of use and if we ever broke up then it would just jeprerdize alot of our friendships.. but i really do like him alot and i want to be more but im not sure if he is ready be together or not.. what is some advise for me please

well i would say that, you need to find out if this is a possible serious relationship or not. maybe he just views you as a hook up partner, rather than a possible serious girlfriend. you need to find out what he thinks... you said you werent sure if he is ready, so im guessing you havent talked to him about this. lastly, the best advice is to not let anyone, your friends in this situation, tell you who u can and can not be with. do what you want and feel is right. if u want to be with him, talk to him about it. because in the end, it is about you two, not anyone else. good luck with everything girl and hope it works out how you want it to. :)

Let's see. He is 21 and you're 17. You are having sex. This is called statutory rape and it's a felony. I live in Utah and people here are getting 30 years for it. But hey, by the time he gets out you will be old enough!! Cheers!!!

Risking pregnancy to preserve friendships is not smart. It cannot last. Once you become pregnant, those high-school friendships will evaporate. Once you graduate, people will go their separate ways to work and to college. Short term choice with some heavy long-term consequences, Mommy!

Britany, your very young to have started having sex, but it is something you need to re-evaluate, if you and him really care about each other and your feelings are mutual then you need to develop the relationship and see if he is the one for you. If he is then don't worry about what other people say or don't say your not having sex with them. It is a decision you should make together, and not worry about it.

Dont worry about what other people think. you both are adults. This story is very romantic. If you do break up then deal with it when it happens but if you don't break up you get to glote in their faces, but if you dont try it you'll never know.
